Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM,Hanoi University of Science & Technology (HUST) and Information Center on Nuclear Energy (ICONE) jointly organized the Festival of Science and Technology “Homo Science” in Vietnam. The festival took place from November 10 to December 24 and was hold online.

 

During the Festival aimed to popularize clean energy technologies among the youth of Vietnam a wide range of lectures and discussions supported by leading experts of Vietnamese and Russian nuclear industry were held. 

 

The participants had a chance to test their knowledge in Nuclear trivia and learn more about nuclear and wind energy through “One minute of science” educating videos. Young students received a unique opportunity to attend the “Why I love science” round table, during which Vietnamese and Russian experts talked about the journey of pursuing and discovering passion for the industry. 

The Festival was wrapped up by 2 discussions “Frequently asked questions about nuclear science” and “The diversified Atom” led by Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy from Vietnam Institute of Atomic Energy and Dr. Nguyen Nhi Dien, former Director of Dalat Nuclear Research Institute.

Moreover, during the Festival participants had an opportunity to learn more about the Rosatom «Atoms for humanity» project. Short videos, featuring stories of people from all over the world sharing how nuclear transforms their lives and helps to fulfill dreams were shown during the Festival in Vietnamese language.  

 

In total, all the events of the Festival received more than 9thousand views.
