Rosatom participates in 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry

27-29th of April 2017 the exhibition has been held in Beijing. Rosatom presented its best practices in producing nuclear fuel, modern NPPs - VVER-1200 and BN-800 and integrated offer - a package of integrated solutions and services to support and enhance every stage of national nuclear programs.

Sergey Demin, regional vice president «Rosatom International network» in East Asia highlighted the huge scale of Russia-China partnership in the framework of nuclear development and noticed that partners are studying the possibility for new construction of nuclear power units VVER type on new sites. 

In 2011 two reactor units VVER-1000 (rated at 1,000 MW capacity) were put into operation in Tianwan Nuclear Power Station. In 2010 Rosatom signed contract on construction of two new VVER-1000 on the same site. In 2018 this nuclear units are going to be launched.  Tianwan Nuclear Power Station is the biggest Russia-China technical subject of cooperation. 

12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry 2017 gather together key players of nuclear industry for sharing the experience and showing best practices in the field of nuclear technologies.
