On April 14-16, the XIV China International Atomic Energy Exhibition was held in Beijing. Rosatom traditionally took part in the event, presenting the latest developments of the Russian nuclear industry. Rosatom's futuristic booth became a platform for active interaction between company’s delegates and representatives of the Chinese nuclear industry and was visited by Zhang Kejian, Director of the National Atomic Energy Agency of China, who also serves as the Co-Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Nuclear Subcommittee.
“China pays close attention to the development of clean nuclear energy and this event is of great importance for our Chinese partners. This is the first time since the beginning of the pandemic when we participate in an event of such scale and importance. This is a great opportunity to meet our long-standing partners in person and establish new valuable contacts. We are very pleased that active business life is gradually returning to China” – said Dmitry Strelnikov, director of the regional center “Rosatom – East Asia” in Beijing.
Over 200 prestigious nuclear power enterprises, research institutes, and universities from China, Russia, France, and other countries participated in this year’s exhibition.
