The activities of the Nuclear Festival 2018 held by the National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia (BATAN) and the National Nuclear Youth Community (KOMMUN) managed to attract more than 2,000 people, to attend the three-day program.

The head of the KOMMUN Multimedia Department, Abdul Goffar, stated that the nuclear festival was a very interesting event. The program successfully involved the wider community, especially young people and children to be more aware of the role of nuclear technology for a better life. As the key participant and sponsor, Rosatom has started activities since the first day with the screening of the film Wild Edens: Russia. On the second day of the festival, Rosatom participated in a national seminar that discussing the role of youths in Indonesia and how they can drive conversations and acceptance of Nuclear in the future. As a socially responsible company, Rosatom understands that youth engagement is vital to the future of the whole industry. This is why the state corporation is committed to raising awareness among the demographic using educational programs. The 2018 Nuclear Festival ended on the third day with outdoor public activities which including Color Run, Fun Bike, and nuclear exhibition at the Rosatom booth.
